Some work I did over 4 years ago (and two years prior to that) is about to be revived (probably). I'm sure there will be updating and tweaking before production (in about 18 months), but the base should remain.
It might just get revived for a small test, but it has the potential to impact millions of people.
Where have you gone, Eagle-Eye Cherry?: A tribute to terrible late '90s hits
The Onion AV club has put together a collection of awful radio-pop from the late 90s. And I know every single one of them like the back of my hand. Someday this will make me really cool, like when they release the "AWESOME LATE 90s" pack for rockband. Also, someone with a serious music collection please muxtape this.
Additionally, they totally forgot my favorite late 90s band, Eve 6!
Sharpie just came out with "Sharpie Pen"
I have only written 12 words with it so far, but I'm in love. Sharpie Pen has a smooth, crisp line and a great feel on the paper without bleeding through like felt tip pens.
Might have to stop by Staples and pick up some more.
UPDATE: They come in Black, Blue, Red & Green. I must buy some more.
After a quick evening of Wii goodness, a couple of quick first impressions
- Wii-mote: a little annoying to use on the Wii Home menus
- Wifi out of the box: excellent
- Lack of built-in-Ethernet: crappy
- Lack of included HD connections: crappy
Wii Sports:
- Wii tennis - fun. I can easily see the possibility of pulling a muscle or tossing a Wii-mote through the TV.
- Wii bowling - meh.
- Wii golf - meh. Take a lesson from Hot Shots Golf.
Mario Kart Wii:
- Logged most of my time here.
- Online play easy and fun.
- Multiplayer works well.
- Even Max liked it and wanted to race. And he is only 2.5 years old.
I think it was a new record for me. My one way commute home took just over 4 hours door-to-door. The commuter train was at a dead stop for nearly an hour.
Delays to MARC Brunswick Line trains are being caused by heat orders, track inspectors, storm affected signals and fallen trees. Delays ranging from 30 to 90 minutes have been noted.
I like that the delays have been "noted."
The Internets are all a frenzied waiting on Jobs to announce the iphone2.
I'm keeping up with live coverage from:

There are so many options available for blogging. I have been using Vox for a while, but initially liked Blogger. I've been frustrated with Vox's tightly controlled layouts and adding outside content (html, flash, etc).
I think I'll try out tumblr. It isn't as polished or novice friendly as Vox, but I like the complete and total flexibility of their platform. It aggregates outside services nicely too.
