From Autosport:
Mosley has continued to deny that he dislikes Dennis, but does admit to having issues with the McLaren boss' approach to F1.
"I quite like him," he said. "But I do despise - I think that's probably the right word - his attitude to Formula One, when he says, for example, that he's passionate about Formula One. That's not true.
"He's passionate about McLaren finishing first and second in every race, which is his job, but it's not the same thing as being passionate about formula one and it's foolish to pretend that it is."
So Max's version of "passionate about F1" is to "give Ferrari every possible advantage so every other F1 teams have to work extra to win"?
Excellent article from Martin Brundle on Sunday Times. I just cannot believe how arrogant Max Mosely is behaving all these years and no one would stand up to him? I dearly love F1 and have been following it for over 20 years and despite being the most exciting racing last season, I feared the muddling and politicking of Max Mosely had damaged F1's image in the general public beyond repair.
I know I should have taken time to write about my iPhone experience last Friday. But with having friends over for dinner on Saturday, tennis and French Grand Prix on Sunday, some important programming to do Monday and Tuesday, and 4th of July lunch with my friend Wendy, only now I have the time to sit down and write something.
- No scheduled email checking, only periodic checking - no point checking for emails while I'm asleep and waste battery.
- Keyboard volume can't be adjusted - the clicking is a great feedback tool but it is way too loud to use in an office.
- No WAP support - not an iPhone issue as such but since I can't log onto Facebook's mobile site (which is WAP) I wish either Apple or Facebook do something about it.
- Wi-Fi password entry is difficult to say the least - since there is no copy & paste in the iPhone, I have to manually enter the wi-fi password. I ended up connecting our iPhones to the less secure router running WEP because the password is shorter (the WPA one is 63 characters long).
- The 'Share' feature should be pluggable for developers, i.e. plug-ins for Facebook, Tumblr, Flickr, etc.
Eiron and I will be flying out to Indianapolis this afternoon for the US Grand Prix tomorrow. Will post photos when we get home tomorrow night! We have great seats at Turn 1/2 complex so we should get some fantastic overtakings.
I wasn't surprised the FIA double standard and the British press have finally came out in force after this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. What I am surprised is it took both of them this long before slamming the winning team that is not Ferrari, and any one who stands in the way of a British driver to win a race even if it benefits the whole British team over the whole season!
I still love F1 as a sport. I am even less hostile to Ferrari nowadays because one certain M. Schumacher is no longer driving for them. But the irrationality and viciousness of the British press will never fail to keep me away from that country.
If money were no object, which five luxury items would you rush right out and buy?

I'll assume "money were no object" means infinite amount of money. Then I'll just have to buy out the McLaren F1 team. Mind you, I don't want to manage the whole F1 team and its complex operation. I just want to own the team so I can have trackside access and inside information on what's going on.
The other 4 items are just things that keep me occupy when I am not traveling between races or not attending test sessions, so really are of no consequences.
